“The Cynical Life” is the story of a lovably cynical, die-hard Manhattanite 20-something “accidental” children’s book author named Harper Hall.

After her rocker ex-boyfriend convinces her to move to L.A. — and cheats on her with the illegitimate daughter of David Hasselhoff — Harper moves in with her little sister “Sparrow” (an aspiring actress who sells her eggs to an Invitro clinic for rent money) and is suddenly dragged, unwittingly, into a whole new horror-filled world… being late twenties, NOT an actress, and suddenly single in Los Angeles.
