Here’s a bit of sneak peek info for the Cynical Life of Harper Hall pilot reshoot, as well as info on the next two episodes:

Cast Update: 

Jensen Daggett (Friday the 13th movies, opposite Johnny Depp in 21 Jump Street) & Dana Rosendorff (best known in her role in Cannes Film Fest’s Verite) join the cast of Cynical this week.  We will be casting additional roles for the next two episodes starting August 8th.

Episode 1:  Pilot – The Cynical Life of Harper Hall
Meet Harper Hall (Ashley Avis), a die-hard Manhattanite / failed children’s book author who hasen’t been able to write anything more commercially viable than “When Barney’s Parents Died in the Lava” since she moved to Los Angeles.

In the pilot introduction:  Harper’s boyfriend, folk-rocker Benny Stone (David Ballam), cheats on her with an aspiring pornstar / the illegitimate daughter of David Hasselhoff (Kayley Gable).  Harper moves in with her little sister, “Sparrow” (Camille Cregan) an ‘actress!’ who sells her eggs to an Invitro clinic on Robertson for rent money.

Episode 2:  Swim Suit Ping Pong
Harper faces off with Benny to split up their mutual AT&T bill.  New roomie Plum (Chelsea Rae Bernier) decides to join a “swimsuit ping pong team!”, the brainchild of oversexed pseudo-boyfriend Blaze (Justin Taite), and has to face off against Finnish ping-pong legend Kristiina Mariska Permanto.

Episode 3:  Sparrow’s Birthday
Roomie Jessica (Janna Van Heertum) makes a move on Harper, mistaking her for being a lesbian.  Harper bonds with Misty (Danielle Merrill), the mid-thirty something roomie in the house, and only one more possibly cynical than she is.  Sparrow introduces everyone to Thor, her Norwegian viking boyfriend who starts to learn English — and Harper destroys any chance with Pawel (Alex Ashbaugh), her coffee shop love interest when she gets mindlessly drunk at Sparrow’s fabulous Hollywood birthday party.
